Córdoba - part 3
This is our twelfth video in the Iberian Peninsula series. This is the third video of our stay in Córdoba. We enjoyed Córdoba quite a bit and there was a lot to do and see in this city. We start this video by revisiting the Puente Romano. It is a very popular walk across the bridge and many times you will find excellent musicians playing flamenco on the bridge. The bridge ends at the Torre de Calahorra. The Torre is a museum and we recommend going into the museum to see the views from the tops. In addition, we visited a couple of the private patios that were showcased in the “Fiesta de los Patios de Córdoba.” This annual event is a huge celebration of Córdoba’s world famous courtyards. People come from all over the world to view these private patio in full bloom. We also spent some time visiting the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. The gardens at the Alcazar were stunning and worth the visit. And to complete the Córdoba experience, we visited the Mezquita Cathedral de Córdoba. Another UNESCO site that is really spectacular and a definite must see when you are in town. We truly enjoyed everything about Córdoba and recommend a stop in this very friendly and unique Spanish city. I hope you enjoy the video!
