Córdoba - part 2
This is our eleventh video in the Iberian Peninsula series. This is the second video of our stay in Córdoba. We enjoyed Córdoba quite a bit, there is a lot to do and see, therefore we will have one more Córdoba video for the series. We start this video with a walking tour of the old part of town, including the Jewish Quarters. Walking tours work well in Córdoba because you can easily walk to all the areas of interest, including the riverfront. In addition, the tour guide can give you advice on how to tackle the remainder of the items on your “to see/experience” list. We used the “Get Your Guide” app to find the perfect tour for our group. In this video we also visited the popular “Palacio de Viana” courtyards and we recommend that stop, especially if you are not in town during the “Patios Festival” event. The Palacio is a delightful exhibit of typical Córdoba courtyards. We also lucked out because we found some authentic Cuban Coffee in town at the quaint “Casa Cuba” restaurant. Finding good Cuban Coffee while traveling is always a treat for us. In addition, we had another great evening in Córdoba listening to Salsa and Flamenco music by the Torre de la Calahorra as the sun went down for the evening. It was a great location for the concert and we definitely enjoyed the music and dancing. We saw the Puente Romano & Puerta del Puente lit up at night and it was a beautiful sight to behold indeed. We definitely recommend night time strolls in Córdoba. Next video we will showcase the UNESCO recognized Mezquita Cathedral (a converted Mosque), Medina Azahara and Córdoba’s world famous Festival of Patios. I hope you enjoy the video!
